Current Projects

Smith Hill CDC is currently rehabilitating over 20 houses in the neighborhood.  Everywhere you drive you can see evidence of our work.  The largest project is Visions II, a 52 unit, scattered-site, tax credit rental development.  Visions II will be in construction for 18 months and will revitalize the Pekin St Historical District, which encompasses Camden Ave., Osborn St., Pekin St., Inkerman St., Alma St., Vale St. and parts of Chalkstone Ave.   We have also just begun work on two multi-family homes located at 93 Goddard St and 63 Candace St which will become affordable home ownership options.  There are several more individual projects that will be coming on-line over the next few months as well.  We are also involved with several community initiatives with wonderful individuals and organizational partners.  Not everything we do is listed here, but it is a great place to begin.
